When managing your Nurse List, you use the designation "R" in Column A on a spreadsheet to remove the license from the list. This can be done with any correctly formatted file but one way to do this in bulk can be to use the Export function.
- Open your account and to your Nurse List.
- Click the "Export" button to download an Excel file of all the licenses on the Nurse List (it is already in the correct format).
- Open the file and change, in the first column, any "A" to an "R" if you want to remove the license in the row from the Nurse List. (To "start over" you can change them all to "R")
- Save the file somewhere you can find it later and close it.
- Now click "Enroll a Nurse" and select "Enroll Multiple Nurses - Upload a File"
- Choose the file you just edited and "Upload" it.
- Once it is ready click "Continue" to process the file
- This will remove the selected licenses from the Nurse List.
Helpful Hints
- You must purposefully remove licenses from the Nurse List once it has been added. If you omit a license from a file it will not be removed, it will remain on the list until you remove/delete it.
- It is not possible to add a license to the list twice. If you include a license that is already on the list with an "A" value it will simply update your applicable values if they have been changed (i.e. notification settings, location code(s), user-defined field/record ID, email address, hospital practice setting)
- When removing (or updating) licenses you can leave the columns for year of birth and the last four of SSN blank.
- If using the API the Manage Nurse List method with a Submission Action Code value of "R" will remove the specified license from the list.
