We suggest you review this entire email as multiple actions may be required and can take time to be completed. If you arrive at the test center and this entry requirement is not met, you will be turned away, and the registration, all fees, and the Authorization to Test (ATT) will be forfeited. You would then need to register, pay, and be granted eligibility by the NRB again.
Important: The names listed as “first name” and “last name (surname)” must match on all 3 of these on the day you arrive for your examination:
- The name on record with the nursing regulatory body (NRB).
- The name on the acceptable ID you bring to the exam appointment.
- The name on your Pearson VUE account.
The Pearson VUE website requires something in both “first name” and “last name” but legally you only have one or the other. Again, all 3 noted items at the top of this message must match. If the acceptable ID and the NRB both have the field as simply blank, then the punctuation mark of a period (.) can be used on the Pearson VUE account and will be considered a match.
If something was already entered incorrectly, please see: How do I change my name on my Pearson VUE account (REx-PN Registration)?
