The Authorization to Test (ATT) dates will not be extended by NCSBN for any reason. The candidate will be required to create a new registration, pay another fee, and request a new ATT from the nursing regulatory body (NRB) if:
- The candidate does not test before the ATT expires.
- The candidate does not test on a scheduled appointment date. This includes not rescheduling outside of 24 business hours or being turned away for being late, failing to meet an entry requirement, etc.
- The candidate is retaking the examination.
